5 Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day in Cleveland
It’s that time of year again that greeting card companies and chocolate shops mutually adore – Valentine’s Day! UCP of Greater Cleveland wanted to get in the spirit and decided to share five ways to celebrate in Cleveland this year.
1. Take a trip to the Westside Market to buy the fixings to make your Valentine a delicious dinner
Whether you are in the mood for pasta, seafood or filet, the Westside Market has it all. Why sit in a crowded restaurant when you can enjoy Valentine’s Day in the comfort of you own home?
2. Get unconventional at Monster Jam
If you and your sweetheart are looking to do something a little more outside of the box, head over to Monster Jam at The Q Arena to see a bevy of monster trucks!
3. Show your your sweetie your cultural side at one of these shows
Are monster trucks not really your thing? Then head to one of these shows playing over Valentine’s weekend: Sibelius Violin Concerto at Severance Hall, Pippin at the Connor Palace, Defending the Caveman at the Outcalt Theatre and Shaping Sound at the Ohio Theatre.
4. Attend “Cinderella and Prince Charming’s Valentine Party” at the Children’s Museum of Cleveland
For those that have little ones, “Cinderella and Prince Charming’s Valentine Party” is a great way for the whole family to celebrate Valentine’s Day. You can learn how to waltz while meeting Cinderella and her prince!
5. Give your heart to UCP of Greater Cleveland
Instead of buying flowers that will wilt after one week, make a lasting impact by donating to UCP in honor of your Valentine. Your gifts help kids like Ben, who went from learning to take his first independent steps to walking a whole mile at UCP’s Race to Empower.
