“See Us!” Slam Poem

A message from Amy Vedova, OakLeaf Activities and Training Manager: “A little reminder to take the time to really SEE everyone for who they are and what they can do. Not what they can’t do. Each and every person on this planet is an individual with feelings, goals, struggles and accomplishments. The biggest thing that I hear from those I work with is that people don’t SEE THEM for who they are, but rather, all they see is their disability. Do not discount anyone. You’re missing out!”
