Iman
Compassionate, inquisitive, hardworking and a fighter. Those are just a few words to describe Iman, a 25-year-old Syrian refugee who receives therapy and job training services at UCP of Greater Cleveland. When Iman first arrived in the United States, she knew only a handful of English words and had pain due to limited resources that allowed her to move her body safely and independently. Because of her determination and the wonderful staff at UCP, Iman’s English skills have blossomed and she has become more independent with using her new walker and wheelchair.
