Andrew Kruse named Chief Operations Officer
UCP of Greater Cleveland announces the promotion of Andrew Kruse to the position of Chief Operations Officer. Mr. Kruse joined the Agency in 2014 as a Job Placement Specialist and has since held leadership positions in both program services and administration. He has been critical in business and program continuity throughout the pandemic, ensuring effective oversight of UCP’s group homes, as well as helping to lead the re-opening and re-establishment of facility- and community-based services. In his previous role in business operations, Mr. Kruse expanded the Agency technology plan, oversaw the move to a new facility and streamlined purchasing systems, among other accomplishments.
Beth Lucas, President & CEO, is impressed with Mr. Kruse’s forward-thinking ideas and philosophies. “UCP of Greater Cleveland recently completed a strategic plan, in which diversification of funding streams and modernization of the organization are pillars for addressing growth and efficiency. Andy’s scope of knowledge, his tenure in the field of developmental disabilities and his unwavering passion for supporting the individuals and families we serve, as well as our team members, will go a long way as we navigate through the next few years.”
As part of Executive Leadership, Mr. Kruse will oversee administrative operations as well as Agency special projects and initiatives; and will collaborate with the Board of Directors, community volunteers and all team members. In his spare time, he enjoys fly fishing, cooking, gardening, and traveling with his wife.
